The Queen has made a last minute visit to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at their new home as the clock ticks down to the arrival of the royal couple’s first child.
The Queen has visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their new home at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, The Sun reported
Meghan is expected to give birth any day now and the Queen wanted to see her before she has the baby, according to a royal source.
The source told The Sun: “Her Majesty wanted to formally welcome the Sussexes to their new home so she was their first visitor.
“After all, they’ve practically moved into her back garden. She visited with other family members and Harry and Meghan were delighted to show them round.”
News of Her Majesty’s visit sparked some speculation on Twitter that the Queen’s newest great grandchild had already arrived.
Also welcomed at Frogmore Cottage by the expectant couple have been the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Anne’s daughter Zara and husband Mike Tindall.
Frogmore Cottage recently underwent a $5.5 million renovation, ahead of Meghan and Harry moving in.
